Checklists

The checklists used by SURPASS Digital are the result of years of research and testing. Studies have proven the increase in surgical safety resulting from use of the checklists.

• Elective clinical procedures
• Emergency procedures

Checklists in SURPASS Digital are stored in so called 'templates'. These templates are stored on a central SURPASS server and can be imported into SURPASS Digital on demand. When new and optimized checklists become available, participating hospitals can easily upgrade their checklists by importing the new version.

SURPASS Digital also supports checklists targeted at specific specialisms. When a surgical procedure is selected in SURPASS Digital, the checklist corresponding to the procedure will be automatically selected.

The content of the SURPASS Checklist is a dynamic process and likely to be even further optimized in the future. New templates are stored on a central server and can easily be imported by the SURPASS Digital application.
